On the coin obverse there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine in the centre of the ornament interpreting the interior decorated the ceiling of the main institute building. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2 ГРИВНІ, 1998 (Ukraine/ 2 /hryvnia/ 1998.)
Reverse
