Obverse
On the obverse there are: the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine (in the center), the coin issue year 2009 (thereunder), the circumferential legends Національний банк України (National Bank of Ukraine) above and ДВІ ГРИВНІ (Two hryvnias) below together with the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
Reverse
On the reverse there are B.M. Martos' portrait, a part of the Great Coat of Arms of the Ukrainian People's Republic (on the left) and the inscriptions: 1879/1977 - years of life, to the right of the portrait, and beneath (bow-shaped) - БОРИС МАРТОС (Borys Martos).
