Obverse
On the coin obverse at the center, there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine; at its sides there are depictions of snow-flakes and designations of Ag 925, the symbol of precious metal, and its weight 31,1. Above the National Emblem, there is the year of coin issue -1998. Around the circumference there is a two line legend: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) and 10 ГРИВЕНЬ (10 Hryvnia)
Reverse
On the coin reverse there is a picture of a skier against a background of decorative tracks. Around the circumference there is an inscription: ХVІІІ ЗИМОВІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ НАГАНО, split with snow-flakes.
