Obverse
There is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, below - the image of the reverse side of the coin in circulation 'Volodymyr the Great'; to the left whereof there is logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint, to the right - the coin issue year - 2006. Around the coin circumference there are the following inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) -above and П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (Five Hryvnia) below.
