At the top is the small State Emblem of Ukraine; at the bottom, the year of issue - 2005, surrounded by ancient ornaments and a three line inscription: UKRAINE / 1 / Hryvnia as well as the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse
In the segment bordered by three rays of spotlights is a depiction of soldiers returning from the front. The left inscription reads 60 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941 - 1945
