Obverse
Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine withthe semicircular inscription (National Bank of Ukraine) and the coin issue year indication 2012 (to the right), lower there is a fragment of the XVth century relief depicting St. George, which was found in the Genoese fortress during excavation; to the right and left there is depicted a conventionalized grapevine against the background of the wall; below there is the legend on the coin together with the National Bank of Ukraine Mint logo.
Reverse
There is a conventionalized picture of the town with its beaches as seen from the fortress wall (to the left) and to the right, against the background of the sea, there are the inscription СУДАК/1800/РОКІВ (Sudak/1800/years) and the coat of arms of the town.
