Obverse: within the circle of beads there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine, above it - 2010 (the coin issue year); between the circle and the coin edge there are the semicircular legends: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) above and 2 ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnias) underneath, as well as Au 999,9 (coin metal and its fineness) on the left and on the right - the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint and the coin weight in fineness - 1,24.
Reverse
Reverse: there is depicted a branch of European cranberry bush and are inscribed the semicircular legends: КАЛИНА ЧЕРВОНА - VIBURNUM OPULUS.
