The graphic and heraldic composition symbolizes the Great Union of 1 December 1918; the main element is the "Union Hall" of Alba Iulia town; underneath, the three-cusped medallion containing the united Coat of Arms of Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania; over the building, engraved circularly, the slogan "SEMPER UNITIS" (united for ever); below, the inscription "ALBA IULIA"; on the lower part, engraved circularly, the date "1918 1 DECEMBRIE 1918".
