Polygonal medallion made up of two overlapped rosettes; in the middle, Romania's Coat of Arms; the inscription "ROMANIA" and the face value "100 LEI" are engraved circularly, above and below; the year of issue "2003" is engraved horizontally on the left and right sides of the medallion.
Reverse
The image of the eagle shaped ornamental plate and the circular inscription "VULTUR APAHIDA".
