Obverse
The obverse of the coin in the central part, a stylized image of the heart with ornamental insert the words "500 ТЕҢГЕ" indicating the denomination of the coin, the inscription "Ag 925 31.1 g " indicates the metal of the coin, its standard and weight, and the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Circling the coin is a wide matted edging, on which a recessed inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" in Kazakh language and «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN» in English.
Reverse
On the reverse is located in the central part of the gilded image of two lovers, the words "МАХАББАТ" in the state language, "ЛЮБОВЬ" in Russian, and the number "2016" indicating the year of coinage. Circling the coin is a wide matted edging with sunken inscription "ЖҮРЕКТЕН ЖҮРЕККЕ" in the state language, "ОТ СЕРДЦА К СЕРДЦУ" in Russian and «FROM HEART TO HEART» in English.
