Obverse

On the front side (obverse) of coins in the central part shows

ornamental rosette, in the interior of which is located the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language and "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН" in Russian. In the bottom part - the inscription "500 ТЕҢГЕ" indicating the denomination of the coin, in the upper part - the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On mirror surface applied decorative thread-like pattern. Along the perimeter of the coin wide edging, on which is an inscription "2016" indicating the year of issue, and "Ag 925 31.1g"

indicates the metal of the coin, its standard and weight.

Reverse

On the back side (reverse) of coins in the center of the relief,

oxidized "stone-like" the image of the sculpture of the Turkic chief, against the backdrop of a fragment of runic letters with memorial stele famous Orkhon complex.
