Description:
Obverse
The coin features, in a gold-plated medallion, the Golden church in Veliki Preslav (Great Preslav), a lion and a gryphon. Underneath there is the nominal value ‘10 ЛЕВА’ (BGN 10) and the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank with the year ‘1879’ inscribed on the ribbon. (Bulgarian National Bank) and the year of the issue ‘2014’ go in circumference.
Reverse
The reverse features, in an inner ring bounded by a dotted rim, an image of Tsar Simeon the Great – a detail from a stained glass window at the BNB. (Tsar Simeon the Great) are inscribed in circumference along the edge.
