Obverse
On the obverse of the coin bearing the nominal value are the logo of the BNB and the text ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), the nominal value of the coin ‘10 ЛЕВА’ (10 BGN), as well as the year of issue ‘2003’.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features the image of Dimitar Peshev, the texts ‘ДИМИТЪР ПЕШЕВ’ (Dimitar Peshev) and ‘60 ГОДИНИ ОТ СПАСЯВАНЕТО НА БЪЛГАРСКИТЕ ЕВРЕИ’ (The 60th Anniversary of the Rescue of Jewish People in Bulgaria), and the Star of David.
