Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin depicts the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank, with the year ‘1879’ inscribed on the ribbon. In circumference there go ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), the face value ‘5 ЛЕВА’ (5 BGN), and the year of issue ‘2009’.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features some pottery united by a frieze decorated with ornaments typical of the Bulgarian pottery with some colouring on them. In circumference there are the inscriptions ‘ТРАДИЦИОННИ БЪЛГАРСКИ ЗАНАЯТИ’ (TRADITIONAL BULGARIAN CRAFTS) and ‘ГРЪНЧАРСТВО’ (POTTERY).
