In the center, ring of pearls that surround the Roman numeral V that is flanked by florões (one of each side), on the date 1769. On the numeral there is a crown that surpasses, in height, the ring of pearls.
Reverse
The caption PECVNIA.TOTVM CIRCVMIT.ORBEM wraps around the edge of the part.
In the center, an armillary sphere, having superimposed in the center of the sphere the monetary letter B (Bahia).
