Obverse
The chestnut tree blossom cluster is depicted against the background of Kyiv panorama (to the right); above there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, thereunder - the inscription: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), to the left the semicircular inscription against the mirror-like background: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК (National Bank) and the year of coinage - 2006; denomination on the silver coin - П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (5 Hryvnias), the name of the metal and its fineness - Ag 925, its weight in fineness - 15.55.
Reverse
On the coin reverse of both coins there is a portrait of Dmytro Lutsenko, to the right whereof two chestnut blossom clusters and conventionalized inscriptions: Березова/ Рудка 1921/ Київ 1989 (Berezova/ Rudka/ 1921/ Kyiv/ 1989);and two semicircular inscriptions: above - ЯК ТЕБЕ НЕ ЛЮБИТИ, КИЄВЕ МІЙ! (How cannot anybody love you, my Kyiv, below - ДМИТРО ЛУЦЕНКО (Dmytro Lutsenko).
