Obverse
On the coin obverse above there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine, beneath - there is the inscription: Національний Банк України (National Bank of Ukraine) and there are depicted tooling of a sculptor, artist and graphic artist against the background of a conventionalized palette. Reverse
On the coin reverse there is depicted a portrait of Mykhailo Lysenko, against whose background there are his years of life: 1906 – 1972; above there is a semicircular inscription: Михайло Лисенко (Mykhailo Lysenko).
