This coin of 50 euros of face value, reproduces on its back the work "Las hilanderas o La fábula de Aracne" (The Spinners or The Fable of Arachne), made around 1657 by Diego R. de Silva and Velázquez, which is preserved in the Museo Nacional del Prado.
