The relief image showing the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus in the circle surrounded by the geometrical ornament, beneath – the year of issue; and alloy standard; and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛИКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and at the bottom – 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES).
Reverse
At the top – a circumferential inscription: БЕЛАРУСЬ – КІТАЙ (BELARUS–CHINA); in the center – two arches symbolizing the openness of relations and cooperation between both countries; beneath the left–hand arch – the landscape typical of Belarus and a Chinese inscription: BELARUS; beneath the right–hand arch – the representation of the Great Wall of China and a Chinese inscription: CHINA; and at the bottom – a circumferential inscription engraved in two lines: 15 ГОД ДЫПЛАМАТЫЧНЫХ АДНОСІН (15 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS).
