Obverse
Within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; beneath – year of issue, fine silver content and alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top: "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom: "ДЗЕСЯЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TEN ROUBLES).
Reverse
In the right–hand part – the relief effigy of Yanka Kupala, in the top left–hand part – years of his life "1882 – 1942", in the bottom left–hand part along the rim – inscription "ЯНКА КУПАЛА" (YANKA KUPALA), above it a stylized effigy of fern.
