Obverse
On the obverse of the coin, the head of young girl is placed on a palladium blank in the center of the field. Around it on the gold blank is the name of the state SLOVENSKA REPUBLIKA. The central motif is supplanted by the state shield, the year 2003, and an ornament in the form of lime leaves placed at the top and on the left and right sides of the coin
Reverse
On the reverse, the silhouette of Bratislava Castle is depicted on a palladium blank in the center of the field. Around it on the gold blank is the inscription "10 ROKOV SLOVENSKEJ REPUBLIKY" (10 years of the Slovak Republic). In the background is an outline of the map of Slovakia. To the left is the presidential standard with a lime leaf and to the right a lime twig. At the top is a lime leaf with the years 1993 and 2003, indicating the year of the origin and the tenth anniversary of the Slovak Republic. At the bottom is the face value of 10 000 Sk.
