Obverse
At the background of ornamental canvas there are: at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and inscription "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center – image of a blooming plant; at the bottom – inscription "РАСІЦА ПРАМЕЖКАВАЯ" (OBLONG–LEAVED SUNDEW); year of issue, face value "1 РУБЕЛЬ" (1 ROUBLE).
Reverse
In the center – the relief effigy of a flying owl; at the top – the effigy of a fragment of Belarusian ornament, denotative life symbol; in the right–hand part – a fragment of a stylized landscape of The Bogs of Almany; at the bottom – inscription "БАРАДАТАЯ КУГАКАЎКА" (GREAT GREY OWL).
