In the lower part of the disc against the background of the interior of a yurta – a sitting woman with a child in the national clothes on, behind them – the Tuvinian stringed instrument and articles of utensils, to the left and to the right of the yurta – Tuvinian artefacts from the excavations of the Arzhan Mounds: the bronze nameplate in the form of a rolled up panther and the golden deer, above over the yurta to the left – a reindeer breeder riding on deersback, to the right – a nomand on the horseback, in the centre against the background of mountains, stylized clouds and a Buddhist temple – the obelisc "The Centre of Asia", below along the rim – the inscription: "100-ЛЕТИЕ ЕДИНЕНИЯ РОССИИ И ТУВЫ И ОСНОВАНИЯ Г.
