In the centre on the mirror field of the disc – the ensemble of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra with Saint Trinity Cathedral in the front of it, below – the emblem of the Lavra: an angel holding in his hands the oval disc with the depiction of two crossed staves, to the both sides of the emblem – fragments of vegetable ornament. Above over the Lavra – the image of the patron saint of the Lavra and Saint Petersburg – the most Orthodox Prince Saint Alexander Nevsky, over it – the semicircular inscription along the rim: "СВЯТО-ТРОИЦКАЯ АЛЕКСАНДРО-НЕВСКАЯ ЛАВРА" (SAINT TRINITY ALEXANDER NEVSKY LAVRA).
