The inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin “ТРИ РУБЛЯ” (THREE ROUBLES) and the year of issue "2012", between them - the indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the purity, the Moscow mint trade mark and the fine precious metal content.
Reverse
Depicts the relief image of the Luzhetsky Ferapontov Monastery in the town of Mozhaisk, Moscow Region. The inscriptions are: at the top – “ФЕРОПОНТОВ ЛУЖЕЦКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ” (THE LUZHETSKY FERAPONTOV MONASTERY) and at the bottom - “МОЖАЙСК” (MOZHAISK).
