The Grand Duke Dmitri Donskoy with a sword, a monk with a cross and the Grand Duke's sword-bearer holding a horse by the bridle, all standing in a field; in the background - Russian men-at-arms with a gonfalon over them; to the right - the outlines of a monastery.
