on the upper part - figure „2009”;
on the bottom part -the inscription „200 LEI”;
following the coin circumference– the inscription "REPUBLICA MOLDOVA" is engraved in block letters.
Reverse
On the central part – inside of medieval rosette, the imagine of Fortress Soroca, upper part open crown with five visible fleurons;
on the bottom part - the inscription “MOLDOVA” is engraved in block letters, on the ribbon, the inscription „650 ANI ”.
