- on the upper part – the year of issue „2018”;
- on the bottom part -the inscription „50 LEI”;
- in exergue– the inscription „REPUBLICA MOLDOVA” is engraved in block letters.
Reverse
- in the center - the effigy of Constantin Negruzzi and a quill;
- at the top is engraved the inscription "CONSTANTIN NEGRUZZI";
- at the bottom, in exergue, are engraved the years of life "1808-1868".
