Description:
Obverse
The large coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia is placed in the centre. The inscription 1990.4.V is arranged in a semicircle top right and the semicircle inscription LATVIJAS REPUBLIKA is at the bottom.
Reverse
The centre features the sun with its beams forming the red-white-red flag of the Republic of Latvia at bottom left. The inscription 1 LATS is placed in a semicircle top right with the year 2007 below. The inscription DIEVS, SVETI LATVIJU! (God bless Latvia!) is placed in a semicircle at the bottom.
