Obverse
Coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan framed inscriptions "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language, "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН" in Russian and the national ornament. In the lower part there is an inscription "5000 ТЕҢГЕ" indicating the denomination of the coin. At the top - the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Reverse
On the back side (reverse) of the coin depicts a fragment of gilded monument "Kazakh Eli" on the background of a geographical map of modern Kazakhstan with images of people in national costumes, symbolizing the unity of the people of Kazakhstan. In the upper part of the coin gilded image of the rising sun., and the inscription "25 ЖЫЛ" in the state language. In the circle are the inscriptions "ТӘУЕЛСІЗ ҚАЗАҚСТАНҒА" in the state language and "Ag 925 25 oz", indicating the metal of the coin, its standard and weight. In the lower part of the coin is the number "2016" indicating the year of coinage.
