Obverse
On the obverse of the coin in the central part the emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is depicted in the frame of the inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" in the state language, "Ag 925 31,1g" denoting the metal from which the coin was made, its sample and mass, "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН" on in Russian. In the lower part there is the inscription "500 ТЕҢГЕ", denoting the face value of the coin. On the circumference there is a national ornament.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the coin is a girl in national clothes standing on a stylized field with a loaf of bread in her hands, symbolizing cordiality and hospitality. In the left part there is a gilded image of the sun with the inscription "АЛТЫН ДӘН ДАЛАСЫ" in the state language and the number "2017", denoting the year of coinage. In the right - a gold-plated sheaf of wheat ears and a trademark of the Kazakhstan Mint.
