Female figure representing Italy standing tall on a prow of a ship, with a branch of olive in her right hand. Value and date are above, the mintmark is on the prow while the names of author and engraver are on the side of the ship.
NOTE: all the coins have the mintmark incused on the prow, except for the coin dated 1908 where is in relief.
