Country name in Greek, Turkish and English.
From 1991 the laurel twigs no longer touch the shield (KM#53.3).
Reverse
Face Value, stylised bird in front of a tree branch from a jug of bichrome ware of the Cyproarchaic period.
Starting in 1985, the value number is surrounded with a double line (KM#53.2 and KM#53.3) instead of a single one (KM#53.1).
