Obverse
In the Brass center it is shown the symbol of Congress. It is elliptical circle in which are 8 rhombuses that connected make capital letter E (like Esperanto). In the outer circle in a ring, in central part, it is placed one rhombus. From the left side of rhombus, it is written "UNUA KONGRESO DE KROATAJ ESPERANTISTOJ" (First Congress of Croatian Esperanto's) in Esperanto. In the inner circle in the ring, in the central part above rhombus, it is placed the year of minting, 1997. From the left side of year, it is written "PRVI KONGRAS HRVATSKIH ESPERANTISTA" (same sentence in Croatian).
Reverse
In the Brass center of the coin, it is written nominal value of the coin, number 25. In the contours of the number 25, there is shown a marten running to the right. Under the number it is written "KUNA". In the lower central part of a ring, it is placed a Coat of Arms of the Republic of Croatia. On the left side of a Coat of Arms of the Republic of Croatia it is placed laurel branch and on the right side, it is placed oak branch.On the upper part of the ring it is written "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA" (The Republic of Croatia).
